earthStatir: live data about planet Earth, 24/7
earthStatir is a non-stop live broadcast that turns public scientific data into a calm, readable dashboard of our planet. It updates around the clock.
- Earthquakes. The latest events and the strongest one in the last 24 hours, from the U.S. Geological Survey.
- Space weather. The planetary K-index, solar wind speed and geomagnetic storm levels, from NOAA SWPC.
- Tropical cyclones. Active hurricanes and tropical storms, from the NOAA National Hurricane Center.
- Natural events. Volcanoes, wildfires and severe storms, from NASA EONET.
- Asteroids. Today's closest flybys, from NASA NeoWs.
- Launches. The next rocket launches, from The Space Devs' Launch Library 2.
- Weather. Current conditions in cities around the world. Data from MET Norway.
When a major earthquake causes serious damage, the stream switches to a quiet mode: no music, no bright effects, just the facts.

How it works
The channel is produced with our own software:
- Munarie Studio renders the live scenes and sends the stream.
- Munarie Control is a private control panel used only by the channel operator. It:
- keeps the 24/7 stream running and restarts YouTube broadcasts on schedule;
- prepares short highlight clips, which the operator reviews and approves before they are published to the channel.
Munarie Control connects to the operator's own YouTube channel through YouTube API Services and to the operator's own Twitch channel through the Twitch API. It is not a public service, and there is no sign-up.
